2017 Skip Kelley Redwood 2-Point
I bought Skip's #63 from MandoMutt a couple of months ago. You can check out what Kevin Douglas has so say about it:
I own one other Skip Kelley mandolin: #53 for a couple of years now. It is an A-style, is one of the finest mandolins I've ever played, and certainly ever owned. So, I just had to rush out and find a way to buy #63 because it was definitely different in several ways.
Let me just say it sounds great and plays even better. It has a perfect neck with EVO gold frets. It's got a great chop, intonates perfectly and sounds great playing rhythm, double-stops, tremolo... whatever. Really good mandolins can fit into most any style and technique, IMHO!
This is 2-point mandolin with a top plate made with 150 year old Redwood. It's in Mint condition and comes with a new Superior, white, fiberglass case.
