Gibson A5

Photo for Ad 133499

A rare and important instrument, this is an A5 conversion by Randy Wood; tremendous volume and depth. Serial #10 completed in January of 1973, this example bears both the "Old Time Picking Parlor" silver & gold label, and an early Gruhn Guitars paper label. Maple back and sides, spruce top; some surface scratches, playing/finish wear preset on top. The maple neck has a 14" scale with extended ebony fingerboard; slanted Gibson script on peghead overlay with flowerpot.
