Not sure I'm in the market for a mandolin banjo, but there is one with an interesting feature on reverb here:https://reverb.com/item/2117722-no-n...-natural-maple (https://reverb.com/item/2117722-no-name-mandolin-banjo-1920-or-so-natural-maple)

It's pretty plain, and the owner doesn't know who made it, but what caught my eye were the f-holes on the back of the resonator (there are a couple of pictures of the back, near the end of the pics). I've never seen anything quite like that, but I'm not knowledgeable about mandolin banjos. Any ideas what make this might be? I'm assuming if the owner took the back off, the dowel might tell who the maker is. (This is cross-posted on the mandolincafe site, too.)

Several banjo ukulele brands employed the "F" holes on the back of the resonator. That is a nice feature.
