• American Banjo Museum Festival

    American Banjo MuseumOklahoma City — The American Banjo Museum, 9 E Sheridan Ave., will host its inaugural Americana Fest from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 18.

    Music will be provided on multiple stages by local favorites including Willow Way and Bread & Butter Band along with the Side Street Steppers of Memphis, Tenn.

    The stage area inside the museum will feature a rotating roster of bands while the outdoor area will be focused on the kids, with arts and crafts, photos, hotdogs, and snow cones. The kids will also be treated to music and sing-a-longs, led by KFOR-TV personality Lucas Ross.

    Door prizes as a part of the day's activities includes the grand prize of a Deering Goodtime banjo.

    Tickets, which include all shows and food, are $10 for adults. Children 15 and younger will be admitted for free with a paid adult.
