New Banjo picker here!

Hi all,
I've been playing guitar for 30 years or so and always wanted a banjo. A couple days ago, I picked up a banjo in my local store, googled how to tune it and gave it a try. I fell in love.
Being very knowledgable about guitars but totally deficient about banjos, I relied on the store owner for advice.
I bought a Fender FB-58 Concert Tone with case new for $800.00 I hope it was a good purchase.
I'm having a ball with my new banjo!

That one will certainly get you started. I've seen them at better prices, and you would have probably liked a RK-35 OR 36 better, but with a good set-up, you can go a long way into your banjo journey with that banjo.
