Props to the playing of Jim Pankey who you're hearing above on this streaming track. He's among us on this Forum. We ran into Jim playing with 3-Time National Flatpicking Guitar Champion Roy Curry this past January at the Anaheim NAMM Show, a place so noisy it's almost impossible to hear anything. What a pleasure to him Jim's rock solid, tasty playing minus that background noise. See, here's the thing about acoustic music. Line up all the award winning bands you want from this and that organization and for sure, they're fine and talented. But if we want to listen to bluegrass, this is as good as it gets. What a great band! If you're only going to buy one bluegrass album this year you'd not go wrong with this one. Band web site
