radius fretboard vs flat(age old question from modern folks)

looking at a build and the banjos I have all are flat. I can't remember in the past, I think an OME Celtic I had once did have radius but not sure.

whats your experience with radius boards if you've had them-made a difference to you or not?

I play up the neck, so it could come into play I think, in a good way.

For me, it never really made much of a difference. My primary banjo for a number of years had a radius, but when I switched over to the RK (no radius) I really never thought about it.

Maybe some folks have more finesse and can discern why they prefer one or the other... Me, it just wasn't that big of a deal.
