    You could try a taller bridge... You may need a thumb pick that is a little longer depending on you thumb size and shape...

    I use spikes on my banjo. Tried a sliding capo about 38 years ago and couldn't stand the feel of it. Had Stelling install nails at 7,8,9 and 10 on my Masterpiece in 1981. Never looked back.

    Wow! As a long term mandolin cafe member. I appreciate the new banjo cafe. I've never been drawn to the other banjo sites. Too hard to navigate.
