    Pulling tabs from a recording?

This is probably a pipe dream but I'll go ahead and ask... There are very specific versions of songs I'd like to learn but I can't find tabs and the musicians are dead... Any chance there's a...

    Your Favorite Strings

My banjo professor loves Black Diamond N734-1/2 so that's what I've been using. I haven't tried anything else. I was hoping to get some input on other folks favorites so I can try them out. Thanks in...
  10. I met you flying CVG to EWR with my banjo...

I don't know if you'll ever see this or not, but I did tell you about this website and I'm hoping you'll check it out. It never occurred to me to exchange business cards and even though we sat right...

    Re: When to replace strings?

After changing them a few times I'm starting to get the feel for when it's time. I can already tell by feel when they're done. They get loose and my playing starts to get sloppy. I like them very...

    Re: Well, I did it...

Bravo my good sir. Like a boss! Just started myself and I didn't even know you could get a fretless banjo. If I did know that I still would've gone with the safety net of frets. Once you get going...
