    This is a Gibson Mastertone RB-350 banjo. They were produced in 1975-1976 only as commemorative pieces for the American Centennial. They are identical to the RB-250 model, except for the wood marquetry design on the back of the resonator.

    This one appears to be in almost mint condition. They are not particularly highly-prized because of the multi-ply rims and light tone rings used in their construction.

    It belongs to a buddy of mine. It's pretty much immaculate. If the shipping totals I have are correct there were 27 of them shipped - one in 1974 the balance in 1976.
