Passernig F5 #84

Photo for Ad 118022

Another wonderful mandolin from Austin's own Stefan Passernig. Big, bold tone with a lot of richness and complexity. Clear note separation and balance from string to string and all the way up the fretboard. The playability of this mandolin alone could sell it, but you get the the tone and volume too! Red spruce top, red maple back, sides, and neck, MOP logo and floral inlay, Ivoroid binding with top purfling on top, back, fingerboard and peghead, bone corner protectors, Cremona sunburst, "vintaged" oil varnish finish with French polish on top (prone to craquel and shrink to reveal more of the wood's grain-line pattern and maker's marks under the shiny surface), bound ebony pick guard, Passernig engraved James tail piece, custom fit TKL hardshell case.
