Vega Tubaphone Conversion

Photo for Ad 123313

A fantastic conversion of a Vega Style M (tubaphone) tenor to five string, utilizing a new mahogany neck from Eastman. The rim assembly is 10-15/16" and features all original Vega hardware (including individual flange pieces, tortoise-bound pie plate resonator, armrest, tonering, neck hardware) with the exception of a reproduction Presto tailpiece. The mahogany neck has a 26" scale length, ebony fretboard and peghead overlay; outfitted with Gotoh tuners w/ black buttons; no inlay or position markers. Some scratching is present on the rim cap and back of resonator.
